In the video for "False Alarm," the album's second single, The Weeknd helms a crack team attempting to rob a bank. The video is a first-person narrative told from Starboy's perspective. One by one, his teammates go down, and the heist becomes a struggle to survive. The whole thing is extremely bloody and the parental advisory warning for "explicit content" and "graphic violence" is accurate.

Yesterday, Pusha T released a remorseless attack on the rap game called "H.G.T.V." This morning, Def Jam sent out the MP3 file of "Circles" to various media outlets, to Pusha's chagrin. Pusha teased "Circles" couple months ago, and it's unclear exactly what the release strategy is here, but in any case, the song has now hit the digital streets.
It's a brooding, undulating track that doesn't possess the raw grit "H.G.T.V." and positions itself rather as a grim strip club anthem. Pusha continues to refer to himself as Blowbama, and Desiigner's fingersnap game is second to none.

Today, the Memphis rapper has shared the new single from Rubba Band Business: The Album, which features some vocal contributions from Kanye West. Ye supplies the titular phrase repeatedly in the hook, while Juicy contrasts his spontaneous yelps with his signature bassy flow. The track premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show today.

The video for the track is expected to premiere on TIDAL tomorrow. Is this destined to be a hit?

Nate Parker's Nat Turner biopic "The Birth of A Nation" is scheduled to hit theaters on October 7th, as is the film's surprisingly stacked quasi-soundtrack The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album. We've already heard Meek Mill and Pusha T's "Black Moses." Now, the film's producers have decided to unleash 2 Chainz's "Whip & A Chain." While Tity Boi focuses on the more modern interpretation whip and a chain double entendre, the beat provides plenty of cinematic heft to even it out.

In addition to 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, and Pusha T, The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album will feature artists like Nas, Gucci Mane, Wale, The Game, Anthony Hamilton, LeCrae, Vic Mensa, Leon Bridges, and Trey Songz.
