Usher releases another song from his upcoming album "Hard II Love."
Para conferir o som para download, entre na loja do iTunes, conforme consta no link da publicação original abaixo.
Last Friday, Usher blessed the streets by releasing two new songs, "Missin U" and "Champions." With his forthcoming album due out on September 16th, Usher returns today with another release, "Rivals" feat. Future.
The
new song comes in the form a music video, which is currently available
in its full form exclusively to TIDAL subscribers. For everyone else,
TIDAL shares a 30-second section of the video in which Usher
contemplatively rides through Atlanta. The song has the feeling of a
somber ballad, though it is quick-paced enough that it may soon gain
traction on the radio, if Usher releases it as a single.
Watch "Rivals" and pre-order Hard II Love on iTunes.
Freedom or jail, clips inserted, a baby's bein born
Same time my man is murdered, the beginning and end
As far as rap go, it's only natural, I explain
My plateau, and also, what defines my name
First it was Nasty, but times have changed
Ask me now, I'm the artist, but hardcore, my science for pain
I spent time in the game, kept my mind on fame
Saw fiends shoot up, and do lines of cocaine
Saw my close friends shot, flatline am I sane?
That depends, carry Mac-10's to practice my aim
On rooftops, tape cd covers to trees
Line the barrel up with your weak picture then squeeze
Street scriptures for lost souls, in the crossroads
To the corner thugs hustlin for cars that cost dough
To the big dogs livin large, takin it light
Pushin big toys, gettin nice, enjoyin your life
is what you make it, suicide, few try to take it
Belt tied around they neck in jail cells naked
Heaven and hell, rap legend, presence is felt
And of course N - A - S are the letters that spell . . .
NAS, NAS
[Chorus: scratching by DJ Premier (2X)]
"Nas is like life or death.. I'm a rebel.. "
"My poetry's deep, I never fell.."
"Nas is like.. half man half amazing.."
"No doubt.."
[Nas]
"Nas is like.." Earth Wind & Fire, rims and tires
Bulletproof glass, inside is the realest driver
Planets in orbit, line em up with the stars
Tarot cards, you can see the pharaoh Nas
"Nas is like.." Iron Mike, messiah type
Before the Christ, after the death
The last one left, let my cash invest in stock
Came a along way from blastin, techs on blocks
Went from Seiko to Rolex, ownin acres
From the projects with no chips, to large cake dough
Dimes, givin fellatio, siete zeros
Bet my nine spit for the pesos
But what's it all worth, can't take it when you under this Earth
Rich men died and tried, but none of it worked
They just rob your grave, I'd rather be alive and paid
Before my number's called, history's made
Some'll fall, but I rise, thug or die
Makin choices, that determine my future under the sky
To rob steal or kill, I'm wondering why
It's a dirty game, is any man worthy of fame?
Much to success to ya, even if you wish me the opposite
Sooner or later we'll all see who the prophet is
[Chorus]
[Nas]
"Nas is like.." Sex to a nympho, but nothin sweet
I'm like beef, bustin heat through your windows
I'm like a street sweeper, greenleaf reaper
Like Greeks in Egypt, learnin somethin deep from they teachers
I'm like crime, like your nine, your man you would die for
Always got you, I'm like Pop Duke you would cry for
I'm like a whole lot of loot, I'm like crisp money
Corporate accounts from a rich company
I'm like ecstasy for ladies, I'm like all races
combined in one man; like the '99 summer jam
Bulletproof Hummer man
I'm like being locked down around new faces, and none of em fam'
I'm the feelin of a millionaire spendin a hundred grand
I'm a poor man's dream, a thug poet
Live it, and I write down and I watch it blow up
Y'all know what I'm like, y'all play it your system every night
Now..
Listen to De La Soul and Little Dragon's collaboration, "Drawn."
It's been a minute since we've heard from the Swedish group Little Dragon. Today the group pops up alongside hip-hop mainstays De La Soul for a lush collaboration. "Drawn" features the soft vocals of Yukimi Nagano and a rich string arrangement, before leading into more simple guitar plucking and piano keys side-by-side. Finally, just when you think the song is winding down, the raps come in.
Nagano shared a few words on the smooth collaboration, calling it quite accurately "a dreamy journey about not taking anything for granted in life. About love and being lost in something dangerously good."
She also revealed how Little Dragon connected with the OG group. "We met De La on the Gorillaz tour in 2011. I guess there is a mutual creative respect. We've kept in touch since then, naturally, collaborating was bound to happen," she says.
Joey Bada$$ shares the celebratory video for "Devastated."
Joey Bada$$ switched things up on recent single, "Devastated," embracing melody in a big way without compromising his traditionally-informed style. It makes for one of his most immediately satisfying records in some time, and a wide enough appeal to make it a potential hit. The video does a good job of capturing the fell of the song, as Joey celebrates in a football field with a wild crowd around him, displaying the infectious energy of the track. It would certainly make for a good lead single from an album, and something tells us that's just what it is. Here's hoping.
Watch Isaiah Rashad's official music video for "Free Lunch."
Three days ago, TDE's Isaiah Rashad finally hit the fans with new music after taking some time away from the scene. The Chattanooga MC dropped off "Free Lunch," and this record, paired with a tweet from TDE's President Dave Free, has most of us thinking that Isaiah will be next from the Top Dawg camp to drop a project. Speculation is confirmed today, with the end of Isaiah's music video sharing the same release date Dave Free tweeted: 09.02.16.
The rapper gets his hustle on for the "Free Lunch" video, taking over a laundromat to count up his bills. It's directed by aplus.
Isaiah also made his second appearance since January with a feature on TUT's "G35" just yesterday.
Makonnen returns with his Danny Wolf-assisted "Red Trap Dragon" mixtape.
Makonnen has followed up his Drink More Water 6 mixtape from earlier this year with a brand new collaboration with Danny Wolf. Red Trap Dragon finds the rapper working with Wolf on all 8 of its tracks, including the previously released "Sounds Like Who?" For those unfamiliar, Danny is responsible for the production on fan favorites like "Trust Me Danny" and "Black Mamba Freestyle."
Also featured on the project are fellow Atlanta artists Lil Yachtyand Skippa Da Flippa, but for the most part, Makonnen handles all the vocals solo. Make sure to check out our recent cover story with Makonnen, where he explains his Red Dragon alter-ego,here.

This is the third collaboration involving Bronson and Ronson, following the Mr. Wonderful tracks
"Brand New Car" and "Baby Blue." "Standing in the Rain" is a
remake/reinterpretation of the early '70s song of the same name by the
Cleveland rock band The James Gang. After playing a healthy snippet of
the track, Lowe got Ronson on the air to tell him how the collaboration
came about and how it landed on the star-studded soundtrack.
